So that’s pretty much how we managed to do very little cooking while we were camping, but ate like kings!Best of all, my food borne illness paranoia that usually forces me into town to eat at restaurants, or to live off of stale muffins really didn’t have a chance to show up at all!.Oh, our poor neglected garden.

Between camping trips, soccer games, baseball games and life, we just haven’t had the time to dedicate to it this year.It looks nothing like our garden did at this time last year.. Our garden early last June.Last year, it was a thing of beauty.

All full and lush and green.With actual growing veggies, not weeds I mean.

The thing is, it still ended up looking pretty much like it does now by the time the season was done.
We really did dedicate a lot of time to it last year, but we just couldn’t keep up.Maybe even a little stark?
That’s OK, that just means I’ll have no choice but to have lots of fun bringing in some character and color.I’ll take that over dark and depressing any day!.
A bright new wall is a great excuse to finally bring out my favorite Summertime vase!.I think I’m on a roll!
